Laguna
I would like to say thank you to all who have helped me get to this point and make the US GP. It didn’t quite go as planned but I felt we came there with a good motorcycle and had a good plan. Just felt let down on our tires. I felt it was very important for us to get a good result here to try and get some more help to continue but with the tire we had to run the race on, that result or outcome was out of our hands.
For me my passion is still high for racing but it is very difficult to have to help work on the bikes, try and train or stay in shape and keep working on bringing in more help to be able to continue. Given this position and what we are trying to compete against I feel we were very close. In all the practices we were always just a few tenths out, and in qualifying, we got bit with the tire and ended up using our time on a hard race tire to get our qualifying time on.
I want to say sorry or apologize for my out come but feel we did do a good job, and think we should have been further up the order if we could have gotten a better rear tire.
Now my focus will go back to the boys (Jett and Garrett) trying to get them to some more races and to get enough points so that they might be able to make the final round this year in AMA at Laguna. It has been very tight on money but with out your help we could have never made it this far. So I hope you enjoyed the races and I hope to be able to do better for you in the future, if not me then hopefully the boys will get their chance.
Thanks again
Doug Chandler
